I plan group trips, couples trips, and solo trips around how you actually like to travel, and I'll tell you where I'd stay, what to skip, and which dinner to book three weeks out.
8–30 people
Group trips go wrong in the logistics: twelve people, four flight schedules, one person who doesn't eat fish. I handle the room blocks, transfers, and dinner reservations, and I keep one plan everyone can see, so the person who organized the trip gets to enjoy it too.
Romantic getaways
Honeymoons, anniversaries, or just finally taking that trip. I'll steer you to the cove restaurant you reach by boat, the hotel where the room actually has the view, and the town worth staying in instead of day-tripping. One good dinner reservation can carry a whole trip.
Independent discovery
Going alone shouldn't mean planning alone. I'll pick neighborhoods where you can walk home at night, places to eat where sitting at the counter by yourself is completely normal, and enough structure that you don't spend half the trip on your phone working out what's next.
Who's going, rough dates, a budget range, and what a great day on vacation looks like to you. "We want to eat well and not rush" is a perfectly good answer.
A quick call or a few emails. I'll ask the questions that change the plan: how you feel about long drives, whether you want a pool or a neighborhood, how early you're willing to get up for the good stuff.
You get a proposed itinerary with hotels, the order of places, and the things that need booking early. First draft within 48 hours after we talk. Swap what doesn't fit. We go back and forth until it's right.
I book it, keep confirmations in one place, and stay reachable while you travel. If something goes wrong during the trip, message me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Just tell me where you're thinking of going and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a good fit.
Before Wanderspy was a business, it was a running list on my phone: the anchovy bar in El Born you have to get to before 8 p.m., the boat with a painted fish that takes you to lunch outside Positano, the 5:30 a.m. train to watch the tuna auction in Tokyo. Friends kept asking for it, then asked me to book the trips too. Now I do it properly, for anyone who'd rather travel with good advice than a top-ten list.
More about me →Join Wanderspy (it's free) to get a heads-up when a good deal comes up and read my notes on which offers are actually worth booking.
The first conversation is free and there's no commitment. Half-formed ideas are fine. "Italy, sometime in the fall, two of us" is enough to start.
